The American Renewal Plan · Responsible America

A practical reform platform, built on evidence you can check yourself.

The American Renewal Plan examines how government can work better — concrete, practical reforms, each backed by transparent sourcing. Responsible America is the organization and evidence system behind it: the same sourcing standard, applied the same way, to every claim this platform makes.

What Responsible America is

An independent, evidence-based civic project. It identifies structural problems in U.S. governance, taxation, and public accountability; explains competing viewpoints honestly; proposes practical reforms through The American Renewal Plan; and gives citizens tools to act. Every reform is evaluated by the Responsible America Test — 28 questions including "would this rule still be fair if the opposing party controlled the government?" See About for what this is, and is not.

Major Divisions

These are connected parts of one system, not unrelated projects. Every reform below belongs to one of these divisions.

Current Accountability Panel

Live counts computed from the reform database itself — not hardcoded — so this panel can never drift out of sync with the underlying records. See the full Renewal Plan for detail.
